Controlled pouring and adjustable temperature for coffee brewing

The white Timemore Fish Smart Pro electric pour-over kettle combines a fine gooseneck spout with adjustable temperature control. This is the 900ml, 1500W Pro model, designed for commercial use, with a maximum water level of approximately 850ml.

• Construction and heating: The kettle is made from 304 food-grade stainless steel. The Pro model heats water to 88°C in approximately 192 seconds. Boil-dry protection automatically switches it off when operated without water.
• Controlled flow: The patented fine gooseneck spout and internal water-flow structure help stabilise the stream, supporting a controlled, vertical 90° pour at different stages of brewing.
• Temperature control: The built-in STRIX controller offers accuracy to 1°C and adjustment from 40–100°C. HOLD mode reheats water when it falls below the target temperature, while the dual display shows actual and target temperatures in real time.
• Brewing options: Suitable for pour-over coffee, AeroPress, portable espresso makers, Clever Coffee Dripper, Chemex, French press and tea.

Pour-over temperature guidance

The existing brewing guidance recommends 90–92°C for medium-roasted beans, 92–96°C for lightly roasted beans and 85–90°C for dark-roasted beans.

Pro and standard models compared

The Fish Smart range also includes a standard model intended for home use. That separate model has a 600ml capacity, 1000W power, a maximum water level of approximately 560ml and heats water to 88°C in approximately 220 seconds. This listing is for the white 900ml Pro model, not the standard 600ml kettle.
